Competitions

Once you’ve done your medal test, you could start taking part in some competitions! It’s an amazing experience to dance in a competition but not just a good day out – you’ll have loads of fun getting ready for it too! A competition really pushes you to do your best -  you’re bound to see a difference straight away. There are competitions for all levels and all ages, remember it’s never too late to start!



K.Dee.K are very successful at the UKA Ballroom & Latin events and previous winners of the Northern Trophy for best overall Latin American results, and Top Teacher award for the Midlands and North West. Events take place all over the country with a big competition every summer at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

Many of our competitors choose to take private lessons for their competition work which means we can concentrate on everything you need to get prepared. If you’re interested and would like to know more – just speak to your instructor and they’ll give you the best advice on how to get started.
